Rain Garden and Outside Classroom
A special thank you to all who sweated and helped during this past Saturday\'s 2nd Work Day. Thank YOU. We also send a special thank you to the OSU Serv-archeture program, and the Green Deeds Green Columbus volunteers. We\'re nearly done, but not quite. We are going to need help assembling the decorative fence, near the gate entrance, as well as decorate/paint the 550 Gallon Rain Tank, and create signage. There are other smaller projects to come, such as creating a music wall along the metal fence, an art wall, and other classroom areas. We\'ll keep you posted. Many of you have asked about what plants we need. Please check out our plant wish list for a list of possible donations. We, of course, appreciate any donation given!

Save the Date: Sunday Sept 26
Please save the Date: Sunday, September 26th, around 11:30 am -1:30 pm for our Open House to introduce and share the Rain Garden/River installation. We would welcome you to invite grandparents, friends, neighbors, interested parties who would like to know more about Rain Gardens, as well as creating a rain garden in a home environment. We will also be hosting a during-the-week Open House (date TBD). ICC will host the Indianola Presbyterian Church Coffee Hour, as gratitude to the Church Community for their support of ICC as their church mission. More details to follow....

ICC Closed for Teacher In-Service Day
FRIDAY, AUGUST 20TH- ICC CLOSED for Teacher In-service Day. Please make other child care arrangements. This is a teacher work day, as well as a carpet cleaning day. We will be having another in-service day in mid-October after Kelly has returned (Date TBD).

Give Extra Time for Pick-up on September 2 for OSU Home Game
Thursday, September 2nd - OSU 1st home game - is a weekday, and starts at 7:30 pm. Be sure to give yourself extra time to navigate the area, and use your ICC parking pass that day, in order to pick up your children. You may need to temporarily park in the lot and/or the playground lot... Just a fair warning!

ICC Fund Raiser- Parking Cars for OSU Game
Come help park cars for the OSU game on Saturday, September 11th and support ICC!
